Paul Spengemann creates beings and lets them tell stories. For spin jump crawl climb dream bite hunt, he has created a web-spinning figure. Using the sharply focused light of a laser, he recreates the creature's cognitive and emotional experiences. It not only spins, jumps, crawls, climbs, bites and hunts, but also falls into dreams, revealing fears and desires.

Snacking in Fröndenberg

The Snail Kiosk, introduced at the start of the Grand Snail Tour in Xanten in 2024 by artists Lisa Klosterkötter and Paula Erstmann, is being transformed into a Snail Snack Bar at the weekly market in Fröndenberg. The two artists visited the market in the run-up to the event. The stories, recipes, portraits and photographic impressions they collected, which tell of the town, its inhabitants and the surrounding area, will be printed on paper and handed out and returned during the Snail Kiosk. Through the gesture of handing out food and publishing – as editors of a newspaper and as operators of the Snail Kiosk – the artists want to deepen the personal exchange with visitors that took place in the run-up to the event.
