As part of the Zu Gast bei Urbane Künste Ruhr programme, three three-month research residencies were awarded this year at the Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets in Bochum. Together with the History of the Ruhr Foundation (Stiftung Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets), we invite you to a housewarming event at the Haus der Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets on 3. September at 15 h to welcome this year’s artists, Anael Berkovitz, Jeanna Kolesova and Julia Schäfer, and to find out more about their projects.

Hans-Christoph Seidel (Stiftung Geschichte des Ruhrgebiets) and Britta Peters (Urbane Künste Ruhr) will welcome guests and present the Zu Gast bei Urbane Künste Ruhr 2026 programme. This will be followed by brief presentations of the project proposals by the artists.
