With her exhibition Bergüzar artist Nesrin Tanç creates a utopian community space for transgenerational exchange and shared remembrance. Following on from the various elements of the exhibition, the artist and Britta Peters, artistic director of Urbane Künste Ruhr, talk about questions of visualising and archiving the cultural heritage of so-called guest workers, the culture of remembrance and mapping, literature and music. In addition, the Feminist Backyard Choir Duisburg under the direction of Sema Atik will perform.
