Of Streams, Fountains and Fire Protection – Water in old Duisburg. Indoor and outdoor tour
Starting from the Kultur- und Stadthistorisches Museum, Roland Wolf guides you through Duisburg's old town, which was once surrounded by water. The trail leads past long-silted harbour basins, old fountains and a former Jewish ritual bath. The special function of the carp in the city moat is also explained.
The guided tour takes place in German and requires no registration.
