Programme 2024 now online!
The start of an artistic-performative tour through the entire Ruhr area will be the highlight of the Urbane Künste Ruhr programme in 2024. This new format aims to delve deeper into the region than before, strengthen local partnerships and build a sustainable network that is fed by regional structures. The Grand Snail Tour, which will pass through all 53 cities in the Ruhr region, will start on Thursday, 26.9. with a festive opening event in Xanten and will extend over the following three years.
The movement into the area will be supplemented in the overall programme by selective in-depth explorations, which will result from longer artist stays and on-site research, among other things.
