ruїns collective

Portrait of Ruins Collective, an artist collective exploring urban structures and their transformations, standing in front of a wooden door with a nameplate.

©ruїns collective

The ruїns collective was founded by Oleg Isakov, Elias Parvulesco and Teta Tsybulnyk in 2017 in Kyiv and is a film and art union. Between 2019 and 2021, Teta Tsybulnyk and Elias Parvulesco mainly collaborated under this title. The collective aims at reflecting on the world’s complexities from human and non-human perspectives, examining how landscapes shape identities. Their work has been shown in numerous film festivals including FIDMarseille, the Glasgow Short Film Festival or the Docudays in Ukraine. Furthermore, the ruїns collective presented their projects in art exhibitions at MAXXI National Museum in Rome, Royal Art & History Museum in Brussels or at the Art Centre Silkeborg Bad in Denmark.
