Julienne De Muirier

Julienne De Muirier is a writer of fiction and plays. Her stage texts have been produced by institutions including the Residenztheater Munich, the Hessisches Landestheater Marburg, and the Nationaltheater Weimar. In her work, she explores themes of alienation, life in the diaspora, and the self.Her texts has been published in literary journals such as BELLA triste, Das NARR, and defrag Zine. In 2022, her short story Nachtfahrt (Night Journey) was shortlisted for the Wortmeldungen Emerging Writers' Award. In 2023, she received the Emerging Writer Award of the Literaturpreis Ruhr.
She has been awarded fellowships by institutions including Burg Hülshoff and Künstler*dorf Schöppingen. An excerpt from her debut novel, currently in progress, was selected for the Literaturbüro NRW's 1:1 Mentoring Programme.

Bönen

Begleitet wird die Grand Snail Tour von Künstler*innen aus dem Bereich Literatur, Fotografie und Zeichnung, die zeitgleich zum Aufenthalt des Tourmobils, Eindrücke und Reflexionen aus jeweils derselben Stadt sammeln und diese sie visuell oder literarisch ins Bild setzen. So entsteht ein Paratext zur 3-jährigen Tour, der in Form einer Reisechronik, ein Kaleidoskop an Geschichten, Verbindungen, Momentaufnahmen in den 53 Städten der Region als Gleichzeitigkeiten und Ungleichzeitigkeiten zur Grand Snail Tour sichtbar werden lässt.
