Joram Schön

Joram Schön (born in Berlin-Moabit in 1991) lives and works as a freelance artist and filmmaker in Berlin and Cologne. He studied fine art at Berlin University of the Arts and completed his master's degree in art and film at the Academy of Media Arts Cologne. In his drawings, films, and installations, he combines observations of nature and the city. In doing so, he examines the changes in urban spaces and develops critical questions about topography, architecture, and landscape. In addition to his visual art practice, Schön creates essayistic documentary films in which personal narratives are intertwined with historical references and collective memories.
