The focus of the Hamburg-based design studio Liebermann Kiepe is on digital technologies. It was founded in 2014 by David Liebermann (born 1987) and Maximilian Kiepe (born 1990). David Liebermann graduated with a masters in graphics from HFBK Hamburg, and Maximilian Kiepe is studying for a masters in digital media at HFK Bremen. Shaped by their visual art education, Liebermann Kiepe operates at the interface between art, design and technology; researching, integrating and expanding the possibilities and conventions of the field. This approach enables not only function, but also such indispensable features as zeitgeist and the joy of interaction, to develop from the concepts.
In checkitout the duo has created the first artistic contribution to our Kammerspiel, interactively addressing the relation between identity and territories.
