Alisha Raissa Danscher

Alisha Raissa Danscher (*1989 in Herdecke, DE) is a cultural scientist and curator. She studied cultural studies, film studies and German literature in Berlin, Cologne and Zurich and worked at various institutions such as KW Institute for Contemporary Art, Galerie Soy Capitán and for the 9th Berlin Biennale with DIS.

She has been working at Urbane Künste Ruhr since the end of 2020 and, as assistant curator & project coordinator, was most recently in charge of the exhibition Ruhr Ding: Schlaf, the discourse format Wandersalon and the residency programme Zu Gast bei Urbane Künste Ruhr, which has been running since 2018.
