C:mone aka Tuincy Bright

Since 2007, C:mone aka Tuincy Bright, has been enriching the Cologne music scene with her versatile DJ sets. With her roots in early hip-hop culture, her vinyl selection ranges from jazz, funk, soul and disco through to rap, R&B, house, Afrobeat and experimental sounds.
To mark Black History Month 2022, “Selectricity” collaborated with “Decolonize Cologne”, an initiative founded by three female historians, and curated a series of mixes by Black DJs whose voices personalised and musically continued the work of decolonisation. Most recently, they worked with the German Sport and Olympic Museum in Cologne, which organised a month-long programme of events to mark Black History Month in sport. Since 2021, C has been part of the Cologne-based DJ collective E.P.I.Q. She has performed at events including the Polyton Music Prize, the German Jazz Prize, Cologne Jazz Week, the c/o pop Convention and the Bochum Art Museum. As a curator, C has been involved with the concert series at Ebertplatz and the Weekend-Fest Cologne. Since November 2022, she has been hosting her radio show “Listen, here…” on Dublab DE.

Hamminkeln

The Grand Snail Tour will be accompanied by literary, photographic and illustrative artists, who will collect impressions and reflections from the same city at the same time as the Trailer is there and put them into visual or literary form. The result is a paratext on the three-year tour, a travel chronicle in the form of a kaleidoscope of stories, connections and snapshots in the 53 cities of the region, revealing the simultaneities and non-simultaneities of the Grand Snail Tour.

Hamminkeln by Erdem Teper

zurecht, dass er den menschen überlebt;
während die zeit bereits
das leichentuch des menschen webt
und der baum schaut den menschen an,
beide aus haut, rinde und knochen
nur hat der neue mensch
seine beziehung zur natur unterbrochen
