Nino Kvrivishvili is a Georgian artist living in Tbilisi, Georgia. She studied textile design at the State Academy of Art in Tbilisi until 2007 and reflects in her artistic work on the history and personal stories in the context of the textile production in her country, which was a central branch of industry in Soviet times. She participated in residency programmes of the Museum Kunst der Westküste (2018) on the island of Föhr, of the Frauenkulturbüro NRW e.V. (2018) in Düsseldorf or the KCCC Residency (2014) in Klaipeda, Lithuania.

The Grand Snail Tour will be accompanied by literary, photographic and illustrative artists, who will collect impressions and reflections from the same city at the same time as the Trailer is there and put them into visual or literary form. The result is a paratext on the three-year tour, a travel chronicle in the form of a kaleidoscope of stories, connections and snapshots in the 53 cities of the region, revealing the simultaneities and non-simultaneities of the Grand Snail Tour.
