Ferda Ataman (she/her) is the Independent Federal Commissioner for Anti-Discrimination and Head of the Federal Anti-Discrimination Agency, a political scientist. Previously, the political scientist worked as a management consultant on diversity and anti-discrimination issues and as a journalist. Her professional background includes: Managing Director of the Diversity Kartell agency, speechwriter at the North Rhine-Westphalian Ministry for Generations, Family, Women and Integration, Head of the Integration Media Service and editorial offices of Spiegel Online and Tagesspiegel.
