Nikita Teryoshin

Nikita Teryoshin, born in St. Petersburg and living in Berlin, describes his genres as Street, Documentary & Everyday Horror and works alongside his freelance projects for German and international magazines. His photos have been exhibited internationally and have won numerous awards (including World Press Photo). His extensive work “Nothing Personal”, for which he visited 18 so-called defense fairs around the world between 2016 and 2023, was published as a book in 2024 and won first prize at Photo España.

The Grand Snail Tour will be accompanied by literary, photographic and illustrative artists, who will collect impressions and reflections from the same city at the same time as the Trailer is there and put them into visual or literary form. The result is a paratext on the three-year tour, a travel chronicle in the form of a kaleidoscope of stories, connections and snapshots in the 53 cities of the region, revealing the simultaneities and non-simultaneities of the Grand Snail Tour.
