Wiebke Frerichs is a carpenter and graduate in cultural studies. As a member of the curator collective a7.ausstellungen, she was involved in the conception and implementation of artistic projects and experimental art education formats. As a graphic designer, she created visual concepts for art and cultural projects before learning a new technical language for the spatial implementation of her ideas as part of her carpentry apprenticeship. Since then, her focus has been on bringing together the aspects of function, aesthetics and sustainability in workshops, projects and products.
Theresa Stroetges is a musician and sound artist from Berlin with a Master in Sound Studies and Musicology. Her solo project Golden Diskó Ship combines songs with sound collages, electronics, acoustic instruments and video projections. The experimental psychedelic trio Painting moves between poppy hooks, synth bursts and three-part vocal passages, sometimes fragile, sometimes crashing. In various collaborations with artists from the fields of performance, dance, live poetry, film and installation, she pursues possibilities of breaking conventional performance practices and genre boundaries.
Malin Walleser is an artist and carpenter. She studied photography and digital art at the University of Applied Arts in Vienna and completed her apprenticeship as a carpenter in Berlin, where she lives and works. Her creative spectrum ranges from media art and artistic photographic work, room-filling installations to classical and experimental furniture construction, restoration projects and interior design. In her work, she applies her skills across disciplines and realizes a wide variety of international commissions, collaborative and solo projects, as well as association and volunteer contributions.
