Ani Schulze

Ani Schulze (*1982) works with video, sculpture and multimedia spatial installations. Her practice explores the relationship between the human body and its environment and the construction of femininity. Her work has been featured in a number of international solo and group exhibitions, lectures and screenings, among others at Hamburger Kunsthalle, Galerie Lehmann + Silva in Porto, Salzburger Kunstverein, Artothek Cologne, Basis in Frankfurt, Fundacion Botin in Santander, Pavilhao Branco in Lisbon, Kölnischer Kunstverein, I: Project Space in Beijing, A Certain Lack of Coherence in Porto, Kunsthalle Schirn in Frankfurt, Extra City Kunsthalle in Antwerp, and MMK Museum für Moderne Kunst Frankfurt. Ani Schulze has received grants, awards and residencies from the Goethe Institute China, Cité Internationale des Arts in Paris, Kunstgiesserei/ Sitterwerk St. Gallen and the Innogy Foundation, among others. She studied at the Städelschule in Frankfurt, at the Glasgow School of Arts, and at the Kunstakademien Düsseldorf and Karlsruhe.

Healing Complex: Summit – A day of conversations and sauna
